Everyone knows the story of the great flood. It’s the gospel truth, after all. But as Noah’s wife tells it, it’s a different story all together. Hers is the story of a dictator husband, a talking cat, hymn-singing sheep and the end of the world. In her version, all things bright and beautiful were drowned – almost. This isn’t the story we all know. This is the gospel according to her.

In November 2009, Faith Prince joined students from Northwestern University in the studio to record a 6-song demo.
The AMTP is embarking on an intensive development phase with Not Wanted on the Voyage. Northwestern will be devoting two courses in its winter term (January to March 2010) to the exploration and development of this new musical, culminating in a staged reading on March 12. Many thanks to the NEA for helping to make this possible.
